Teague Builders is owned and operated by a family with deep roots in Haywood County and a name known for dependability and quality. Ricky and his wife, Kim, started the journey of building homes in Western NC in 1982, but the love of carpentry and construction began years before then. The Teagues represent four generations of home building in Haywood County. Long before Ricky began his own business, he was learning from his father and grandfather who both helped him discover his passion and talent for building. Ricky passed that same interest and skill onto his own sons, all of which help form the fine crew that is Teague Builders. With over 170 years of total crew experience, you can rest assured that your home is in good hands. Kim works behind the scenes performing the day to day administrative operations of the business so that her family can focus on meeting the needs of their clients. She puts an emphasis on keeping the lines of communication open, precise and professional. These things are extremely important in the construction process, and Teague Builders prides itself in making them priority to ensure every detail of our projects are fulfilled to the highest standard and expectation of those we work with.

Joshlyn is the longest serving builder on the Teague Crew. He spent many hours on the job site growing up and developed his own desire and skillset for custom construction. Upon graduation from high school, he went right to work for his father’s business and has been a strong standing part of the quality craftsmanship they deliver.

Ryan also gained years’ worth of experience learning from his father, which eventually led him to seek even higher instruction in the family industry. After graduating high school, Ryan attended Western Carolina University and acquired a degree in Construction Management before returning home to bring even more capability to an already well established team.

Ricky’s third son, Michael, rounds out the family line of the crew, adding another nearly 20 years of experience to the table. When you account for the rest of the members of the crew who are all specialists at their craft, Teague Builders makes up one dependable team that is more than equipped with the experience and expertise needed to take on any task you need.
